DESCRIPTION:« All Events\n 				\n				\n				\n				\n					This event has passed. \n				\n				\n				\n				\n					\n	Pacific Media Partnership Conference 2026				\n				\n				\n				\n					Resilient Voices: Empowering Blue Pacific Media				\n				\n				\n				\n					Join us for the 2026 Pacific Media Partnership Conference (PMPC)\, taking place at Port Moresby\, Papua New Guinea on 2–3 June 2026.Co‑hosted by the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) of Papua New Guinea\, this year’s conference is built around the theme “Resilient Voices: Empowering Blue Pacific Media.” This sets the stage for a dynamic two‑day gathering featuring a welcome reception\, a cultural night\, and a farewell dinner celebrating the best of PNG culture and hospitality.				\n				\n				\n				\n					\n	\n				\n				\n				\n				\n									This will be the first time NBC has hosted the PMPC\, and the programme will include interactive and engaging discussions on some of the most pressing issues facing Pacific media today\, including: Building resilience in a digital eraMonetisation models that support sustainable media futuresCovering challenging social topics with accuracy and sensitivityInnovations and new technologies shaping Pacific mediaStrategies and examples of co-productions and content partnershipsMedia freedom and ethicsEngaging diasporas and telling Pacific stories on the global stageFor the first time\, PMPC will also include a Pitching Session—a platform for Pacific media representatives to present collaboration ideas\, seek partners\, or share challenges and request support. The PMPC continues to be a powerful space for harnessing the collective wisdom of the ABU’s Pacific members\, while also gaining insights from leading international experts. Participants will collaborate through workshops\, masterclasses\, expert conversations\, working groups\, and both formal and informal networking. Who should attend: The conference will bring together public and private broadcasters\, media leaders\, journalists\, and partners from across the Pacific\, Asia-Pacific\, Australia\, New Zealand\, and beyond.
